NAIOP Cornerstone Awards

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

NAIOP Building Project of the Year – Award for New or Renovated Construction Project in NC that is outstanding in quality, building components, innovation, teamwork, project delivery, and schedule.

NAIOP Green Project of the Year – Designed to be LEED Silver or Above, this project must represent the best of the best in class for Energy Efficient Design and building system performance.

NAIOP Real Estate Deal of the Year – This award showcases the challenges and achievements in Commercial Real Estate and the impact on our Economy as we continue to grow and build our businesses across the state.

Criteria for Award Submittals –

1.     Must be submitted by a NAIOP Member in good standing that was directly involved with the project.

2.     Must have been completed in 2014 Calendar year – January 2014 – December 31, 2014.

3.     Project must be located in the State of North Carolina.

4.     Awards presented at the 2015 NAIOP NC Statewide Conference in Pinehurst, NC on February 26, 2015.

5.     All three NC NAIOP Chapters and their Members are eligible to submit.

6.     You may enter one submittal per category.

7.     All awards must be submitted by 5 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 to Jessica Freeman, NAIOP RT Chapter.

8.     Submit an electronic copy of your submittal to http://naiopcornerstoneawards.submittable.com/submit or info@naioprt.org.

9.     There will be one award per team, if you would like to purchase additional awards for clients, team members, etc, please contact Jessica Freeman at info@naioprt.org.

10.  All finalists will be notified prior to NAIOP NC Statewide Conference so you can invite clients, and key team members to our conference in Pinehurst, NC.

1.     Provide a descriptive summary of the project [real estate transaction]. Include challenges, important milestones, goals of the project and what was done to achieve success. Limit (2) pages.

2.     Describe how you feel this project [real estate transaction] has impacted our community, state, or industry in a positive way. Limit (1) page.

3.     Incorporate photos to better tell your story.

4.     List at least two references per submittal
